​CEIOPS provides access to and displays reinsurance related information
available for supervisory purposes as part of its efforts towards
achieving the objectives of insurance and occupational pensions
supervision and ensuring adequate protection of policyholders and other
stakeholders.
This includes facilitating access to the legal information on:
- Regulatory and supervisory treatment of third country reinsurance undertakings and existing equivalence practices via a public database.
- Findings of CEIOPS pilot exercise on supervisory disclosure, following the ECOFIN request to adopt common formats to disclose national transposition and implementation of EU legislation. This exercise is conducted in relation to the Reinsurance Directive and it is done under the responsibility of the Members, including the consistency of the answers and the correctness of the links provided.
